- Curator's comments
- From an album of Andrew Lawrence's works, for which see 1870,0514.2357. Major, in his Memoir at the beginning of the album, describes this as a vignette to the print registered as 1870,0514.2405, the frontispiece to Voltaire & Rameau's ballet, 'La Princesse de Navarre', for which see comment. In the same album see also 1870,0514.2401, another print etched by Lawrence after Sève.
