- Curator's comments
- From an album of Andrew Lawrence's works, for which see 1870,0514.2357. The design is very similar to that of a salt wrapper made for the company Seignette, which has the same motto and is lettered as having been designed by Sève, in the Waddesdon Collection (accession number 3686.2.35.89). See also 1870,0514.2406, a vignette by Lawrence after Sève.
