Richard Goddard (email Aug 2021 regarding 1876,0708.2576): A little more information on this print (no. 2) and the following prints: 1869,0410.2193 (no. 1); 1869,0410.2192 (no. 3); 1869,0410.1459 and 1876,0708.2577 (no. 4). The British Museum collection has all four prints in this set, which is described as follows by Richard Twiss, 'Travels through Portugal and Spain, in 1772 and 1773' (London, 1775), p. 462,
"Four very large prints were published in London in 1756, dedicated to his majesty (then Prince of Wales); they are so extremely well executed, that they merit particular attention: they were all drawn by C. Lempriere and painted by R. Paton.
