Engraved title-page to Francis White, 'A Replie to Jesuit Fishers answere to certain questions propounded by his most gratious Ma[jes]tie King James' (London, Adam Islip, 1624); title in centre; on left, pregnant, semi-naked female figure, holding book and crown, representing 'Veritas univoca'; on right, pregnant female, wearing embroidered dress, holding a mask, and with a chameleon on her forearm, representing 'Mendaciu[m] æquivocu[m]'; above, royal coat of arms between lion and unicorn; below, oval depicting hand pulling a net full of fish out of water, with motto 'Piscatoris rete habet ranas'; mottoes at bottom left and right, 'Veritate aperit dies', and 'Error cæcus et fallax'.

- Hind (I, p. 254): 'Without signature, and hitherto attributed to Renold Elstrack. But it forms so near a pendant in style to the portrait of Francis White, signed by Cockson, which faces it as frontispiece, that I have placed it under his name.'
