Album bound in red leather with gilt ruling and a banded spine stamped "DESSINS DE MOREAU LE JE./POUR L'HISTOIRE DE FRANCE/IV", the fourth of 4 volumes, containing 82 unnumbered leaves with drawings by Moreau alternating with prints after them, each laid down within drawn borders, 2 free endpapers, one printed titlepage and 4 blank leaves; also 4 inserted leaves with drawings of coins; with a sheet of printed text laid down beneath each history drawing within the border, and empty compartments drawn beneath the corresponding prints; mostly scenes with French historical figures but including coins portraying French kings. 1782-1808
