Portrait of the printseller Clement de Jonghe, three-quarter length seated on a wooden chair, facing front, wearing a buttoned jacket, flat white collar, cloak, gloves and hat with broad rim curled upward, his left hand hanging down along his body, his right tucked under his cloak with the elbow at the level of his abdomen; third state with an arch and shading in the upper background, after the centre brim of hat has been straightened, after additional shading in the face, with cap band added to the hat just above the brim, before button on the hat, before additional shading on hat and in clothes, before outlines of right hand. 1651
