A lady (caricatured) wearing a riding-habit stands in profile to the right, putting her left foot on a stool in order to lace her boot. Two hounds are beside the stool. A riding-switch lies at her feet. She wears a high hat of masculine shape trimmed with a large ostrich-feather. Her coat is of military cut, and her legs are defined under her skirt. 8 December 1792
