A zebra belonging to the Queen had been known as the Queen's Ass, cf. BMSat 5157. 'The Queen's Ass' was the title of a song published in 1762, see BMSat 3870, &c. The Queen's affection for the Prince was well known. For the title cf. BMSat 7384.
