Design in an oval. Bust portrait of George III and Queen Charlotte in profile to the right, his taller figure concealing her right shoulder and the back of her shady hat which has a transparent brim. Both are plainly dressed as in prints depicting them as a farmer and his wife, see BMSat 6918, &c. This (reversed) is the original of the portrait ('Lot 1') in BMSat 6968. In the lower left corner of the plate outside the oval a small anchor is etched. The print appears in BMSat 6961. 1786

- David Alexander (personal communication, February 2009) considers that this print and its variants (BM Satires 6934A) were published by William Holland: the lettering is in his hand and the print is listed in his 1788 Catalogue at a shilling.
