A rebus in the form of a letter from Wilkes, in exile, supporting Williams and Liberty, and denigrating the Scots especially Lord Bute, with a reference to the support of Williams when pilloried "in Palace Yard where [I]'m f[i]rmly persuaded had the Or[i]gina[al] Scotch [boot] been he wou'd have Shared the same fate" . 1765 Etching
