A man at right (Sir Henry Hardinge) helped to his seat on an Indian elephant by two men, one holding his right arm (Sir Robert Peel), the other holding him under his left arm (James Weir Hogg); a man standing next to the elephant at left, trying to control it by with a stick (Duke of Wellington); at left, a man thrown by the elephant (Lord Ellenborough), touching his knee with a painful expression, helped by a man standing at far left (Henry Peter Brougham). 14 May 1844 Lithograph, printed in fawn and black inks
