- Guiffrey records the plates as separate entries (with 'Le Vieux Pauvre' catalogued under a different title: 'Cul-de-jatte').
The IFF acknowledges the existence of a plate featuring both subjects, but gives two different dates for each (1841 for Le Crépuscule, 1861 for Le Vieux Pauvre).
