Description
Political pamphlet of 22 pages without illustrations satirising George IV, his ministers and referencing the Queen Caroline affair, entitled: 'A King in a Pickle with a Cabinet of Curiosities, Collected by Harry Broom.' Lettered beneath the title on the front page with quotations from Shakespeare and Middleton's 'Phoenix' with the publisher's details at the foot of the page: "London: Printed for the Author; and Sold by Gold and Northhouse, 19 Great Russell Street, Covent Garden, 1820. Price One Shilling." On the verso: "Printed by Joyce Gold, 103, Shoe-lane, London. 1820 Letterpress pamphlet
