Reid 4828. A compilation of issues of "The ladies pocket magazine of literature and fashion" Bound as a book with red cardboard covers with a green spine and the title bordered in an ornate design.
The issues include engraved illustration plates and wood engraved headpiece illustrations. The subjects include portraits, topographical representations, fashion plates and literary subjects, listed below:
1. Reid 4564. Vignette illustration on the title-page: "Eva rescued from the flames" from "Tales of Irish life. Major Hamilton carrying Eva to the boat left in charge of his foster father. Lettered above the illustration: "The Ladies' Pocket Magazine. Vol II." "Drawn by G. Cruikshank."(l) and "Engraved by R. Cooper"(r) in the lower corners of the foreground. With the publisher's details at the foot of the page: "London: J Robins & Co, Ivy Lane, Paternoster Row, 1824."
