- According to a manuscript note in the departmental copy of Reid, there are two other views of Lyme Regis by Cruikshank after Marryat: 'Lyme Regis, from the Terrace, looking S.W.' (see 1981,u.759) and 'Hydromania! or a Touch of the "Sub-Lyme and Beautiful" - The Beach at Lyme Regis', which were both reproduced in C Wanklyn's 'Lyme Regis, a Retrospect', 2nd edition, London 1927.
