In a room, a group watching as a man sitting at a round table builds a house of cards, which tumbles down as a figure leans in at right, the man and a man standing in outdoor clothes behind looks at him with dismay; in the left foreground two young children build their own house on a small table; doors open onto garden in background; after a painting by Hayman for Vauxhall Gardens; trimmed through inscription. 1743
