- B. Farwell (The Charged Image, 1989, p.119, n.117) gives two possible series titles: 'Genre parisien' or 'Têtes de femmes'. Probably the right title is 'Têtes de Femmes', because Charles Tilt and François Janet did not work for the 'Genre Parisien' (see PPA127614, 127629, 127639, 127646, 127650, 127653-4, 127706-7).
Also, B. Farwell gives the dating of 1827-1829, which corresponds to the publication of the 'Genre Parisien'. However, according to Adhémar, Lethève and Gardey (IFF, XI, p.242), the address of Janet, 'Rue des Saint-Pères N.10' corresponds only to the year 1824 and therefore the dating should be probably earlier than 1827-1829.
