Four oval scenes, each related to religious events or saints celebrated in August; from left to right and from top to bottom, saint dressed in rags and carrying heavy bag on his back, standing before a Bishop (St Alexander of Comona's day); nun standing in landscape and holding a chalice (St Clare's Day); four women praying around a sarcophagus, and the same women burned at the stake in the background (St Hilaria and maids' Day); a man flogging a female saint tied to a post (St Concordia's Day). c.1632/35
