Four oval scenes, each related to religious events or saints celebrated in April; from left to right and top to bottom, a Pope standing in front of a kneeling man whose face is unveiled (?) by another man (St Anastasius's Day); a soldier standing behind two kneeling saints, male and female, and about to draw his sword (Sts Theodora & Didymus' Day); two saints, male and female, holding palm leaves and standing in landscape with two scenes of martyrdom in the background (Sts Vitalis & Valeria's Day); a saint attacked by an assassin armed with a sword (St Peter Martyr's Day). c.1632/35
