Four oval scenes, each related to religious events or saints celebrated in February; from left to right and top to bottom, a bishop devoured by beasts in an arena (St Ignatius' Day); a priest standing at the entrance of a temple with the infant Virgin in his arms and presenting her to St Anne (Purification of the Virgin); a hermit saint in the wilderness, kneeling, surrounded by wild beasts (St Blaise's Day); a hermit saint in a rocky landscape, kneeling in front of a crucifix, and praying (St Isidore's Day). c.1632/35
