Four oval scenes, each related to religious events or saints celebrated in January; from left to right and top to bottom, the circumcision of Christ (1 January); a cleric and an angel, kneeling face to face and adoring the Name of Jesus (Name of Jesus' Day, 1 January); St Euphrosyne in the guise of a monk is supported by two others, and her father (?) mourns on the left (St Euphrosyne's Day, 2 January); a hooded saint addressing a group of four monks standing on the right (St Odilo's Day, 1 January). c.1632/35
