After a painting now in the Palazzo Pitti, Florence, and formerly attributed to Titian and Tintoretto. The attribution to Veronese, suggested in 1937, is debated and it appears more likely to be the work of his studio; see Pignatti & Pedrocco, 'Veronese', Milan 1995, cat. A 24, page 509.
