- Strange would have copied this when the painting was in situ as the main altarpiece of the church of Gesu e Maria in Bologna, prior to its removal by the French in 1796. It is in the Musée des Beaux-Arts, Lyon, L. Salerno, 'I dipinti del Guercino', Rome, 1988, no. 233.
