Pl. 14; Richardson's show; a ribald and amorous crowd of spectators standing looking at a stage, above which is a plaque lettered 'Richardsons'; on the stage, at left, acrobats, at right, three female musicians with a dog walking on a wire above them, and between, an assortment of actors and costumed figures, including Punch, a cherub, a woman in a 'breeches' role, a harlequin, Neptune and a woman wearing a tall Welsh hat; at centre the two leading players, a young actress pulling an old man's beard, and a young man in doublet and hose, also a clown dressed as Punch aiming a kick at a young woman and man climbing a ladder to get on the stage. 1816

- One of a complete set of 40 plates from the "World in Miniature" bound in a volume with title wrappers, with 2 additional prints. For comment, see 1860,0211.26.
A similar view of the stage and some of the spectators can be seen, in reverse and from an angle, in a watercolour by Rowlandson in the BM, 1868,0808.3193. The drawing for this print, in reverse, was sold as part of the Forbes Collection, Christie's 20 February 2003, lot 187.
