A bust length portrait of Byron on the opening page with a facsimile(?) of a letter signed Noel Byron, May 29 1823 announcing his departure for Greece.
the second illustration is a wood engraved illustration of Newstead Abbey, published by J. Robins & Co, November 5th 1824 and the final page carries a wood engraving of "Lord Byron's House at Missolonghi."
The other illustrations, by George Cruikshank represent scenes from Byron's work.

- None of Byron's literary work is reproduced in this publication.
Reid catalogues the individual illustrations as belonging to "Clinton's Life of Lord Byron." Published by J. Robins and Co, London, June 30, 1824-July 16 1825 and states that there were two editions of this work published 1824-5.
AM Cohn (145) also catalogues, G. Clinton's "Memoirs of the Life and Writing of Lord Byron." published 1825. He states that Forty of the plates were published subsequently separate in a reddish brown paper wrapper.
This edition does not contain Reid 3325, "Adah weeping over Abel.," 3326: "Haidee saving Don Juan from her father's wrath." and 3334: "The footpad shot by Don Juan on Blackheath."
