Venus and Vulcan, after Giulio Romano; at centre, Venus and Vulcan sit on the edge of a bed, she plucking an arrow from Cupid's quiver with her right hand, and fingering a plate of flowers with her left; Cupid holding his bow with both hands, turns back to look at Venus; the plate of flowers is supported by two putti, while two more play around Cupid; at left, through a doorway, a fifth putto tends a fire. c.1803/1809

- From Musée Français, see 1875,0410.469 for comment on the set. This print possibly relates to a now lost fresco of the same subject, mentioned by Vasari as being for Messer Girolamo, the organist of the Cathedral of Mantua. The composition is clearly related to two drawings at the Musée du Louvre (Inv. 3478), now attributed to Biagio Pupini and (Inv. 3657), now attributed to the School of Raphael.
