- IFF 1 describes a group of twenty fives plates, 1835 to 1858, but only lists a few of them.
The 'galerie du Prince d'Orange à Bruxelles' was the collection of William II of Orange who occupied the palace between 1828 and 1830; the collection of paintings then moved to Paleis Soestdijk in the Netherlands.
The portrait is attributed to Hans Memling, but no related painting is described in Dirk De Vos, 'Hans Memling: The Complete Works', London, 1994.
