Description
Five medallions interconnected by lettered bands, evoking the journey of the soul after death, seen at bottom left; all ways leading to to the Last Judgement, seen at top right; the soul avoiding the central medallion representing Christ crucified as the water of life is damned to go to hell at bottom right; those following the way of Christ end up in heaven at top left, taking either the short way or the longer one via the purgatory at bottom centre.
