- The text mentions the marriage of Henri IV to Marguerite de Valois; the marriage occured in 1572 and was annuled in 1599. No mention is made of his second wife, Marie de Médicis, so we can assume the print precedes the second union and was therefore executed between the coronation of Henri (1589) and the end of his first marriage (1599).
