Description
An album of wood-engravings by J. Unger Jun., from a picture book for children, "Fünf und zwanzig in Holz geschnittene Figuren" (1779). Depicting various human and animal subjects in the tradition of Callot. Pasted into an album with fragment of original letterpress titlepage. Together with further woodcuts by Unger (for which see 1884,0308.13 to 23). Wood-engravings
