'Effigies regum Francorum omnium, a Pharamundo, ad Henricum usque tertium, ad vivum, quantum fieri potuit, expressae; Accessit epitome chronikōn, eorum vitas, et gesta breviter complectens'; illustrated book written by and engraved/etched by Virgil Solis and Jost Amman, in Latin; bound in gold tooled red leather; containing engraved/etched title-page by Amman, and sixty-two full-page plates of Kings of France, each with a portrait in a medallion in an ornamental border and a memorable event of the king's life below in a cartouche; twenty-two of those plates are etched/engraved by Solis and have his monogram; the rest of the plates by Amman; plate XXXIX pasted; letterpress text (Nuremberg, Katharina Gerlach, 1576).
