Album containgin title-page, image for prologue and epilogue, and images for 50 fables pasted on the blue pages of an album, with bookplate of Fillinham, from the book 'Phædri fabulæ selectæ, latinè, anglicè, gallicè: fifty instructive and entertaining fables of Phædrus, in Latin, French, and English. Attempted after a new method, for the more speedy improvement of youth in schools. Translated into English by Daniel Bellamy, formerly of St. John's College, Oxford; and illustrated with curious cuts, copied from the designs of the best masters.' (London, J.J. and P. Knapton [& others]) 1734. Each of the 50 illustrative plates with plate number above, morale and fable name below, image in oval border within rectangle with bricks. Bound in brown quarter-leather, with marbled boards, gold lettering on spine.
