Subscription ticket for three prints from the Election series with the royal crown as a sun casting its rays on coronets, mitres and other symbols of power, as well as on a copy of "Hogarth's" Act of 1735; in this and the previous state the coronet on the right has been altered from that of the Prince of Wales to that of one of the monarch's younger sons. 1754; this state, 1755

"J Jones" is a common name, but the title "Mr" suggests a man in trade; it is possible that the subscriber was the man who published a view of Whitfield's Chapel in 1764 from his address at the Bible in Fetter Lane, the corner of Clifford's Inn, near Fleet Street (see 1880,1113.4733).
