- The catalogue of the Utterson sale is not in the BM. Lugt records that the Marriage A-la-Mode series in Utterson's sale sold for £27.10s. The P&D register (1857-2-28-63 to 69) includes not only one impression of each plate, but an unfinished proof of Plate I. The impression of Plate II (1857-2-28-65) was transferred to the Ministry of Works as a duplicate on 3.iv.1946 (note in register signed by A. E. Popham).
