According to Mussini, this is the third and last state. The plate was engraved in Paris for the volume "Recueil d'estampes...de la G. R. de Dresde" ( see 1855,0609.1251 for comment), in which it was plate number 1. See Mussini, Correggio Tradotto, 1995, p. 93
