- This is the second state of the print.
While the authorship of this print has been contested, it is now accepted to be by Giovanni Battista Scultori, having previously been attributed to Giorgio Ghisi, alternatively to George Pencz. The print is after a preparatory drawing that still survives in the Royal Collection (Inv. No. 0483) that is related to a small fresco in the Sala dei Venti, Palazzo Te.
