'Voyage en Sibérie' relates a scientific trip made to Siberia in 1761 in order to observe Venus passing in front of the Sun.It was first published in two volumes by Debure père, Paris. The author, Abbot Chappe d'Auteroche, was a member of the Academy of Sciences.
