This is a perfunctory, probably traced, copy, cut above and below, of the painted-glass design in Basel, Kunstmuseum (Ganz, p. 41, no. 177, repr.). Another drawn copy, lacking the ornamental surround, by the Monogrammist AT, dated 1601, and obviously intended for use as a painted-glass design, appeared at Christie's, 1982, 23 March, lot 82.
