- Closely related to the picture dated 1618 at Stockholm (see Rooses, pp.15 and 17). It should also be compared with the picture in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam (see Rooses, p.197).

A study for Jordaen's painting in Stockholm, which is signed and dated 1618. The artist, after Rubens and van Dyck, was the most distinguished painter working in Antwerp in the 17th century.
