"Die Propheten alle Deudsch. Doct. Mart. Luth." (Wittemberg, Hans Lufft) 1555; the second part of an edition of the complete Bible, with the Apocrypha and New Testament. Containing woodcut illustrations after Hans Brosamer and Georg Lemberger, and decorative initial letters. Bound with titlepage in red and black, surrounded by figurative border designed by Lucas Cranach showing parallel scenes from the Old and New Testaments. German pigskin binding with metal clasps. Woodcuts, some hand-colouring in yellow
