The 1632 Auto da Fé in the Plaza Mayor, Madrid: in foreground figures standing before a wall, two attempting to scale it, above wall is a line of soldiers holding spears, figures beyond sitting near ecclesiastical furnishings including an altar and two pulpits, flanked at left and right by figures sitting on tiered seats, steps leading to figures beneath a baldachin divide right tier, raised platform extends from left tier with a lone figure standing at end of it, in distance a line of figures
