Description: "Wapen, Deß Heiligen Römischen Reichs Teutscher Nation..."; paginated book of standard-bearers displaying the crests of Germanic lands of the Holy Roman Empire; containing 144 woodcuts of full-length standing male figures with swords, waving a standard; name of the town/region given at the head of the page; instructions for colouring each banner provided at back. Prefaced by a text on the Holy Roman Empire, illustrated with 9 woodcut coats of arms by Jost Amman and an illustration by him of a meeting between the Pope and Emperor, with inset Feyerabend device with letters MG. Titlepage red and black, with coat of arms of the Holy Roman Empire by Amman. Woodcuts of banner-bearers signed 'IK.' With a woodcut Feyerabend device by Tobias Stimmer.
