Eight illustrations to John Bell's 'Poets of Great Britain' (London, 1777-1783); by Heath, Grignion, Delatre, after Stothard; all are roundel designs against decorated ground within a rectangular border, with plaques containing the edition title above and poet's name, volume number and quotation, below; all pasted on one page.
A winged figure flying to right, back to the viewer; with scratched artists' names only
'Donne Volume III'; a couple in 17th century dress on horseback riding to left and talking to another man riding alongside on the right
'Donne Volume I'; the poet sitting writing on the right, with three female figures playing music in clouds on the left
'Pomfret'; a widow sitting against a tree with two children, looking up to left at the body of her husband hanging above, watched by a man standing against the tree
'Garth'; a woman kneeling on the right, washing the legs of a man in armour to his astonishment and that of his companion
'Fenton'; Orpheus reclining against rocks, to right, with lions lying peacefully beside him
'Hughes Volume I'; a shepherd sitting in the left foreground, playing a pipe, with Pan sitting piping a little way off to right
'Hughes Vol. II'; Venus rising from the sea, with tritons to right and Cupid hanging from her drapery.
