Frontispiece; Atlas supporting the earth, kneeling on one knee in profile to left.
Twenty-four headpieces decorated with octagonal scenes illustrating Thomson's 'Seasons'; two to each month, lettered on the left with the month, on the right with the number of days, and below with the relevant quotation from the poem: 'Round Euston's water'd vale'; 'A little Farm his generous Master tilld'; 'With smiling brow the plowman directs his way'; 'A friendly tripod forms their humble seat'; 'Slow rolls the churn'; 'run many a chirping brood' ; 'My Voice had a divine harmony'; 'And round his Yard the reeking hay-stacks rear'; 'To Mary first the brimming draught is given'; 'With bristles rais'd the sudden noise they hear'; 'assembling Neighbours meet'; 'Her Head bow'd down'; 'And circling smoke obscures his little door'; 'His lifted finger to his ear he plies'; 'And snatch sweet mouthfuls'; 'Then freely bear thy burden to the Mill'; 'who sits joint tenant of the corner stool'; 'He creeps another step'; 'Glad if the full orb'd Moon salute his Eyes'; 'The humbler shepherd here with joy beholds'.
One head-piece with the title 'Memorandums', decorated with two cockerels.
