Description
Edward of York stepping on the prostrate Prince Edward, raising a dagger to murder him and holding back the boy's kneeling mother Margaret of Anjou by the hair, while Richard and George draw their swords behind to right, preparing to follow their brother's example; title vignette for Henry VI, Part III (Act V Scene 5) in the 12 volume Longman octavo edition of Shakespeare (London 1807), after Samuel Woodforde; lettered state. 1806 Etching and engraving
