Portrait of Henry Ireton, bust-length, in an oval lettered with the title, slightly turned to the left, with a small beard and moustache, in armour with a plain collar, the architectural frame surrounded by two sprigs of growing plants and a trophy of war below with a drum, a baton, a trumpet and a spontoon; published state; after Robert Walker and/or Samuel Cooper. 1742

After the painting by Samuel Cooper of 1649, a copy of which by George Harding in watercolour on vellum is in the Fitzwilliam Museum, University of Cambridge, inv.no.66067. According to records, also possibly after a painting by Robert Walker. This plate was engraved in Amsterdam.
