- The group is copied in reverse and extracted from a larger composition by van Dyck engraved by David Brunn of 1628 (New Hollstein 623 and Carl Depauw & Ger Luijten, 'Anthony van Dyck as printmaker', 1999, cat.33); the background landscape is completely different and was presumably composed by Lens himself.

(ii) republished by John King; 'ex' removed and King's address added after the title: 'Printed & Sold by Iohn King at the / Globe in the Poultrey London.
(iii) republished by John Bowles and Son; Beckett's name and King's address erased; the title re-engraved in closed capitals under which is added 'Printed for Jn..o Bowles & Son, at the Black Horse in Cornhill London'
