There is no copy of Denon's 'Voyage...' in the Department. The B.L. copy is at 458.h.12.
The minutes of the Trustees' meeting on 12th December, 1835, record that "two or three" of the drawings were missing when the group was offered to the Museum.

- The Denon Egyptian campaign drawings in the BM were lots 892 and 893 (pp. 204-205) in the posthumous Denon sale held in Paris in 1826. The lots were offered together and were unsold at 1000 francs.
