- Description

The remains of an iron dagger corroded into its copper alloy dagger-sheath. Only the front plate and chape of the sheath remain, whilst only the lower half of the heavily corroded dagger blade is present. the front plate is decorated with incised stright lines running along its length. The chape is a separate casting. It is open and omega-shaped in form, with two circular terminals that clasp the sides of the sheath.
