Bronze nave band: Cylindrical castings of thin bronze with open ends, each with keeled mouldings, internally hollow at one end and near middle, with everted flange at other end. Annular band cast with two ribs and a spreading flange; used to strengthen the hub of a wooden spoked wheel and prevent splitting; surface corroded; green.
